Captain Underpants Avengers parody

A commissioned piece I did for WorldArtCollector

The request was something Captain Underpants, and I kind of went a little nuts and did a full on Avengers parody haha

I almost did Melvin Sneedly in his tentacle time travel suit but went with his Booger Boy form as he actually does a Hulk reference in that novel. It could turn out that a fragment of the Booger gene still resides within Melvin, causing him to turn into the Booger Boy every time someone acts so immature.

I like to imagine the story that led to this super hero team up. I assume George and Harold used Melvin's printer from the second book to bring Super Diaper Baby, Diaper Dog, Ook and Gluk and Dogman to life, either intentionally or by accident.

I recall one of the aliens from the third book didn't have as obvious a death as the other two. Perhaps he survived and returns to Earth for vengeance, and unleashes a zombie nerd army through a portal he opens from SNEEDLY tower.

Anyways, just an idea. It was fun to draw some of my childhood heroes, and the newer characters Pilkey has added along the way, all together ready to save the world.

Maybe later I'll do a parody of the second Avengers movie with the same crew.
