See The Correlation? by DairyBoyComics See The Correlation? by DairyBoyComics
Who WOULDN'T want Chief watching over you? I think in a fight John would easily kill Cullen, and Chief isn't even immortal.

Thank god the Twilight fandom died. Oh wait... *Looks at fifty shades of grey*

"You'd watch it if it were Halo!"
If it were Halo, it wouldn't be Twilight, making this statement pretty much meaningless.

Sounds like a conversation between and my friend because she constantly nags me to watch some random anime show I've never heard of.

What ever it is, even if it has no romantic themes at all... it's still a better love story than Twilight :P

Halo is a better love story than Twilight. There's a much better connection between the Chief and Cortana than between those vapid morns from Twilight.

The poem "Connection" from Evolutions only further proves their bond

I don't know if I'd have the balls to try and kick MC out of my bedroom. Or any room, for that matter.

:iconairguitarplz: Master Chief killed immortals before. Sounds like a Chuck Norris Fact, but isn't the Didact technically immortal?! Makes me wish Chief were my Papa when I were a lad.

Ummm Forerunner tech such as their cryptums and even their armor allows them to live for thousands of years, possibly unbelievably longer. But that just prevents death by age haha however, that does not change my belief that the Didact IS still alive and will be back for more.

The Didact is absolutely alive. His speech after the credits proves it. And it sounds like he's talking to other Forerunners too.

Some argue that that speech was given after the firing of the rings during the Forerunner era, and he's explaining why they should keep humans as reclaimers, and that his reasoning is a prelude to future events in the series. Though I agree that either way, that dude is still out there. He fell through a slipspace rupture. He just landed somewhere else and went "damn it, gotta try again"

I thought that at first, but then he makes references to the fact that humanity has seized the Forerunners' triumphs as their own while they squandered eons in the darkness. It sounds like he's referring to the modern(well, futuristic) humans rather than the primitive cavemen of his time.

So I just rebeat it and listened. It still seems like it's a speech he gave after the rings were fired the first time, and he's urging the Forerunners to eradicate humanity rather than give them the Mantle.

I'm about to rebeat (For the fifth time haha) here soon with subtitles so I'll pay extra close attention. Either way, he was way too cool a bad guy to just kill off before he was properly fleshed out.

I think it'd be cool if the Flood come into play and the humans and Forerunners have to set aside their eons old rivalry for the mantle and stop their shared enemy.
